Trilyon, Inc. is seeking a PHY System Modeling Engineer who is hands-on with firmware development and post-silicon activities. The role involves developing a PHY architectural model, implementing and validating PHY calibration algorithms, and running system simulations to correlate with silicon results.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate should ideally be able to develop a PHY architectural model in SystemC, but other languages are also acceptable
- Strong PHY experience with SerDes/DDR background preferred
- Require exceptional firmware skills with proven ability to implement and validate PHY calibration, adaptation, and training algorithms
- Work involves good amount of scripting, data collection and analysis
- Candidate should be able to run system simulations and correlate with silicon results
- Strong coding skills in C, SystemC, Matlab, System Verilog and Python preferred
- Familiarity with signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) would be beneficial
- Essential to have strong debugging skills
