Cyber Security Engineer

Call Quest Solution is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to protect enterprise systems, networks, and data from security threats. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud and on-prem environments while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security architectures across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments
• Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, threats, and suspicious activities
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing coordination
• Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies and security controls
• Respond to security incidents and lead root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and development teams to embed security into the SDLC
• Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or information security roles
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection
• Experience securing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and monitoring solutions
• Understanding of encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS
• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, CISM, etc.)
• Experience with DevSecOps and secure CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes environments
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS
