Associate Software Engineer

The role involves collaborating with engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions critical to national defense operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software throughout its lifecycle, ensuring high quality and performance standards
• Assist in the development, enhancement, and optimization of software products and functionalities, including system integrations
• Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of system architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and design specifications
• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure software reliability and efficiency, providing timely resolutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to uphold software quality standards
• Support the development and continuous improvement of software development processes and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• Minimum of two years of experience in software development
• Strong understanding of coding languages such as C# and .NET framework
• Experience working within an Agile development environment
• Proficiency with version control tools like Git or Bitbucket
• Solid foundation in software development principles, debugging, troubleshooting, and process improvement
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain software architectures, requirements, algorithms, and interfaces
• Experience with mission planning
• Experience with Typescript
• Experience with ReactJS/Redux
• Experience with software design patterns
