Schneider Electric is seeking a Project Management Professional to lead impactful projects that drive innovation and excellence. The Project Manager will be responsible for achieving project objectives, collaborating with various stakeholders, and managing resources to deliver high-quality results within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting the scope, schedule, and budget commitments reflected in the Project Management Plan
- Lead the Project Team in developing and managing the Project Management Plan within the constraints established and approved by the Project Sponsor
- Implement and enforce change control over project scope, schedule, resources, and budget
- Collaborate with resource managers and/or organizational management to obtain adequate resources with appropriate skills to staff the project team
- Manages resources by planning, scheduling, and forecasting manpower and resource requirements
- Manages subcontractors to deliver high quality deliverables and installation on schedule
- Manage the timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside of the project team’s scope of responsibility
- Continually identify and proactively manage project risks & opportunities, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure
- Coordinate and direct project closure to customer
- Prepares and delivers final project closure and documentation to customers and ensures final payment
- Management of and responsibility for project change order / Issue logs
- Monitor the project and report the project status to leadership on a regular basis
- Review and approve all team project submittals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or an equivalent engineering discipline
- Minimum of four years' work experience in managing BMS, HVAC, Industrial Controls / Automation, or similar discipline projects
- Microsoft Project (or similar); experience with Smartsheets a plus
- Must be able to travel 15%
- Master's degree desired
- Previous work experience as a lead automation/controls engineer desired
- Previous experience in the commercial office and manufacturing market desired
- Knowledge of Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure BAS solution desired
