Electrical Design Engineer (Founding Team/Consultant)

Structured AI is a company focused on integrating professional engineering with frontier AI. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will work closely with the CTO and CPO to translate electrical design concepts into autonomous AI solutions, ensuring the platform meets high standards of accuracy for major engineering firms.

Responsibilities:

• Encode Expertise: Translate complex electrical logic, circuiting standards, and NEC codes into structured patterns our AI agents can execute
• Product Co-Design: Partner with engineering to test features, ship weekly, and ensure outputs meet a professional "PE-level" bar of excellence
• Strategic Delivery: Lead the technical delivery of AI-produced reviews for enterprise clients, identifying the edge cases that drive our next model iteration
• Customer Front-Lines: Join technical discovery with top-tier MEP firms to map their internal standards and pain points
• Scale Systems: Identify recurring design patterns and coordination "clashes" across massive datasets to build automated checks into the core platform

Requirements:

• 2+ years of electrical design experience for commercial or industrial buildings
• Proven track record of performing independent peer reviews and catching the power or low-voltage inconsistencies others miss
• Ability to abstract patterns from specific projects and turn them into universal engineering logic
• Clear, structured communicator who is naturally inclined to automate workflows
• Experience in BIM coordination, VDC, or power system analysis software (e.g., SKM, ETAP)
• Experience with multi-disciplinary coordination (Electrical vs. Mechanical/Plumbing/Structural)
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools or early-stage startup environments
