Senior Product Manager - Student Experiences

MagicSchool AI is the premier generative AI platform for teachers, aiming to create a significant social impact through educational technology. The Senior Product Manager for Student Experiences will lead the development of features that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes, ensuring alignment with educator expectations and responsible AI principles.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize student-facing features and experiences that improve learning outcomes, engagement, and long-term adoption of MagicSchool Student
• Partner closely with engineering, design, and research to deliver intuitive, high-quality student experiences that scale across grade levels and learning contexts
• Collaborate with Educator, Enterprise, and Trust & Safety stakeholders to ensure student features align with classroom workflows, district requirements, and responsible AI principles
• Define and monitor success metrics related to student activation, usage, retention, and learning impact to guide roadmap decisions
• Balance innovation with safeguards, ensuring student experiences are age-appropriate, compliant, and aligned with educational best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of product management experience, with ownership of consumer or user-facing digital products
• Strong ability to partner deeply with engineering and design to translate user needs into intuitive product experiences
• Track record of navigating ambiguous problem spaces and delivering high-impact, user-centered solutions
• Experience prioritizing and executing in fast-paced, startup environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with cross-functional and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform product decisions
• Hands-on experience developing AI-powered features, including prompt engineering and defining evaluation frameworks
• Experience with K–12 learning environments and education technology
• Experience building products for students, youth, or education-focused audiences
• Experience working on products with safety, privacy, or compliance considerations
