They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support the Environmental Protection Agency by developing and managing data analysis pipelines and optimizing data models for efficient data processing.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and managing data analysis pipelines
- Administer and manage MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases
- Collaborate with backend teams and application development teams to design and implement ETL/ELT processes
- Designing and implementing highly optimized data models to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science
- 8+ years of related experience
- ETL/ELT
- Python
- Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Not only SQL (NoSQL)
- agile methodologies
- ETL platform such as Pentaho and Informatica
- Data Management & Data Modeling
- US citizenship required
- must be able to obtain EPA Public Trust Level 4
