Project Manager/Business Analyst (insurance)

Decerto is a Polish insurance software house that develops comprehensive systems for the insurance industry, focusing on the US market. They are seeking a skilled Project Manager/Business Analyst with experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C) or Life insurance industry to lead projects and drive business process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as the main point of contact between a US-based Client and Decerto and our Partners during the implementation phase
• Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication strategies
• Leading end-to-end project management using Agile methodology, from initiation through planning, execution, and closure, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within the scope, and budget
• Coordinating with the development team and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration across time zones
• Tracking and effectively communicating project progress, status updates, and deliverables to clients, leadership, and stakeholders
• Identifying and proactively mitigating potential risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Analyzing complex business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
• Actively investigating and responding to the client's wishes and needs to find appropriate solutions
• Document business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications

Requirements:

• Proven experience of 5+ years in business analysis (BA) and project management (PM) within software development
• 4+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty or Life domain
• Deep knowledge of the US Insurance
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A forward-thinking and proactive mindset with a high level of engagement
• Team player attitude
