RedCloud Consulting is a business and IT consulting company that supports local clients in the Puget Sound area. They are seeking a Physical Security Design Technical Project Manager to oversee physical security design projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and managing project deliverables from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead physical security design projects from concept through issued-for-construction (IFC) deliverables, ensuring alignment with client requirements, standards, and operational needs
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams for physical security design scope and decisions
- Manage design schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risks across multiple concurrent security projects
- Provide technical oversight and review of design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, narratives, OPRs, and bills of materials, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards
- Coordinate and facilitate design reviews, stakeholder working sessions, and issue resolution meetings
- Translate client requirements into clear design direction for engineers, integrators, and drafting teams
- Ensure security system designs are scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective, incorporating lessons learned and best practices
- Collaborate closely with construction managers, system integrators, IT teams, and facilities stakeholders to support successful downstream implementation
- Track and manage design changes, RFIs, and design-related risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Stay current on physical security technologies, low-voltage systems standards, and industry trends to inform design decisions and client recommendations
