Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will help maintain a clean, sanitized and orderly kitchen to ensure the highest standards are achieved throughout the food and beverage operations.
Primary Tasks:
- You will thoroughly clean equipment and facilities to conform to proper sanitation standards.
- Wash pots, pans, and traps while maintaining the neat appearance of working areas and cleaning equipment storage areas.
- Clean and disinfect walls, sinks, countertops, floors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, and other areas of food service areas.
- Clean and replace floor mats.
- You will support the dish room, operating dish machine.
- Empty and clean garbage cans in dish area and throughout kitchen.
- Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned
Job Requirements:
- Must obtain a SERV Safe Certification
- Basic knowledge in the use of housekeeping/cleaning equipment and knowledge of chemicals as it relates to MSDS
- Understand government public health and, or safety regulations
- Verbalize and respond to guests and fellow coworkers
- General computer/keyboarding skills.
