This position is a member of our Air Monitoring Division.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Perform routine web design and development work within the Division and Office in coordination with the Lead Internet Developer. Participate in web environment designing and architecture, development, deployment, maintenance, and other web and IT activities. Assist in coordinating web development activities within the Division and Office. Ensure material posted on agency websites conforms to agency standards, including accessibility standards.
Assist subject matter experts for various web and IT projects. Track and analyze (division) web page usage. Assist in answering questions about the agency’s web Content Management System (CMS). Provide backup for the Lead Internet Developer (LID) and other web developers in the Office and Division.
Participate in developing and presenting data in an intuitive, easy to understand format such as interactive, dynamic storyboards/dashboards. Assist in the development and maintenance of several database-driven web applications within the Office and Division.
Analyze and evaluate existing information technology and systems processes, and assist in the development of new procedures, standards, tools, and techniques. Complete and/or participate in special projects, including the creation of static maps.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with one or more web programming technologies (examples: HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, Cold Fusion, .NET, etc.).
Experience creating content and/or functionality in SharePoint (such as creation of sites, lists, libraries, simple workflow processes, and site customizations).
Experience making web pages, content, documents, and other electronic media accessible.
Experience using web content management system(s) (examples: WordPress, Drupal, SquareSpace).
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Webmaster Certification.
OR
Two (2) years of full-time experience in web design, web development, or web programming/coding.
OR
A bachelor's degree with 12 semester hours in computer science, web design, web development, or web programming/coding from an accredited college or university, plus one (1) year of full-time experience in web design, web development, or web programming/coding.
OR
Completion of 30 semester hours (600 clock hours) in computer science, web design, web development, or web programming/coding from a licensed vocational, technical, business, or accredited college, plus one (1) year of full-time experience in web design, web development, or web programming/coding.

Work Schedule
Standard business hours are M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Individual and work group schedule determined by the Air Monitoring Division.
