About this roleWe’re looking for a dedicated, detail oriented Account Manager to serve as the key connection between our organization and the clinicians who trust us with their patient referrals. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our sales team, dive into data, help shape market strategies, and ensure our clients receive exceptional service—every time.
Duties Include:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for referring clinicians, responding quickly and effectively to their needs.
• Manage inbound client calls and inquiries, providing excellent support and routing requests to the right team.
• Monitor account activity, analyze referral data, and ensure clients receive ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate documentation within our LIS system, email logs, and internal records.
• Collaborate with the external sales team to develop strategic marketing plans and help achieve key performance goals.
• Build strong cross functional partnerships with multiple internal departments.
• Communicate clearly with clinicians and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain trust.
• Become an expert in the processes and operations that directly affect our clients
Requirements Include:
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work swiftly and accurately
• Excellent communication, Customer service and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word (Word, Excel) and comfort with standard office equipment
• High attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA Requirements
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability and commitment to exceptional service
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently
Education/Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
1 Year of experience in a Medical Office, Insurance Environment or Customer Service Role required
Experience in customer service or Account Management preferred
Communication Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret reports, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong verbal communication and professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Work Environment:
• Office based role requiring frequent phone communication.
• Flexibility for occasional overtime or adjusted hours depending on department needs.
Physical Requirements:
• Extended periods of sitting, with some walking or standing.
• Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and phone work.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs (occasionally up to 25 lbs).
• Clear vision and hearing for daily tasks.
