The Manager – Ground Support Equipment (GSE) is responsible for overseeing the operational performance, maintenance quality, and regulatory compliance of GSE operations across an assigned region. This role ensures that preventive maintenance schedules, equipment reliability targets, financial goals, and safety standards are consistently met at stations' location.
The Manager provides leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight of station level GSE teams and contracted maintenance providers, ensuring alignment with Unifi’s performance expectations and customer service standards.

Job Duties:
Monitor overall GSE performance, including preventive maintenance cycles, reliability metrics, and operational readiness.
Develop and implement regional processes, forecasts, and performance plans to meet financial, operational, and maintenance goals.
Ensure compliance with Unifi policies, customer requirements, and all applicable regulatory standards including FAA, OSHA, EPA, and airport authority rules.
Oversee performance and financial accountability for contracted maintenance providers supporting GSE not maintained internally.
Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, compliance, and environmental responsibility across all regional operations.
Coach, mentor, and develop station level GSE teams to support performance improvement and professional growth.
Assist with administrative responsibilities including payroll, employee discipline, documentation, and shift reporting.
Prepare and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
Review operational and maintenance reports and input data into the maintenance tracking system.
Provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training to maintenance personnel.
Review and validate maintenance tasks and documentation within the computerized maintenance tracking system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external customers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Communicate operational updates, performance results, and expectations clearly and consistently across the region.
Set, measure, and manage performance standards for self and others, ensuring operational and financial objectives are achieved or exceeded.

Qualifications:
Five (5) to ten (10) years of related GSE maintenance operations, fleet planning, or maintenance management experience.
Strong knowledge of GSE maintenance, operational planning, and
P&L management experience preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop solutions.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong ethical standards and commitment to safety.
Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to pass preemployment drug screening and background checks.
Must be able to follow directions, read, and interpret technical documents, and equipment manuals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, knowledge of CMMS.
Ability to travel as required and respond to operational needs on short notice.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to work various hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Subject to on-call responsibilities and overtime as needed.
Work performed in office environments and during station visits in outdoor ramp conditions.
Exposure to weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, and cold.
Exposure to aircraft ramp environments, moving mechanical parts, fumes, and moderate noise levels.
