The IT&A team is looking for knowledge- and service-driven people to join the Audio Visual team! No experience needed, but we recommend a basic understanding of classroom technology and troubleshooting. In this role, you will provide in-person and phone support to faculty and staff who experience issues in classrooms and conference rooms. There are many opportunities for professional development and cross-training with other areas.
Time commitment: 8-10 hours/week
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-7 PM Friday, 7:30 AM-5 PM with opportunities to work over breaks
Supervisor: Esther Moore
Location: Job Hall
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of AV systems and their operation
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in front of users
- Good customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
