Description
We are seeking a self-directed Mobile Lube Technician to perform oil changes and light maintenance services for commercial and fleet customers. This position operates out of a fully equipped service van and delivers high-quality, on-site automotive service at customer locations such as offices, parking lots, and fleet yards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, interacting professionally with clients, and providing consistent, reliable service outside of a traditional shop environment.
This is a Full-Time position 40 hours per week with the possibility of 4-day work week. Schedule will include weekend shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance & Light Repair
- Perform oil and filter changes on passenger and light-duty fleet vehicles
- Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend services based on findings
- Rotate tires and inspect tire condition and pressure
- Perform fluid checks and top-offs
- Replace air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades
- Conduct visual safety inspections
- Install batteries and check basic electrical systems
Mobile Service Van Operation
- Safely drive, park, and operate a company service van
- Maintain inventory of parts, fluids, and tools
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and fully stocked
Customer Interaction & Documentation
- Travel to customer workplaces and homes for scheduled appointments
- Communicate professionally with fleet managers and on-site contacts
- Identify and clearly explain additional service needs or safety concerns (no upselling pressure)
- Use mobile apps/tablets to review jobs, document services, and record vehicle information
- Represent the company with professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail
General Expectations:
- Work efficiently in varying weather conditions
- Manage daily routes and time effectively
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with accuracy
- Follow all environmental, safety, and waste-disposal procedures
Compensation & Benefits:
Total earning potential: $20-25 per hour based on experience, plus a production-based program with the potential to earn up to an additional $5.00 per hour.

Requirements
- 2+ years of automotive service or fleet maintenance experience preferred
- Hands-on experience performing oil changes and routine maintenance independently preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age: 18
- Valid driver’s license for at least two years with an acceptable driving record
- Comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and scheduling software
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, kneel, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate a wide range of vehicles (compact cars to full-size SUVs)
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
