As a QCI Trainer, you’ll serve a vital dual role: inspecting HVAC installation jobs for quality and safety, while also delivering hands-on technical training for our install team. This position directly supports the Install Manager and ensures our teams are not only code-compliant but Goettl-excellent. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, a passion for mentoring others, and the drive to maintain our industry-leading installation standards.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct jobsite visits to assess installation quality via our QCI (Quality Control Inspection) program
- Ensure 100% completion and high performance (90%+ scores) on all iAuditor inspections
- Provide technical training on installation standards and HVAC code compliance
- Audit and update QCI documentation to reflect new technologies and best practices
- Support safe, clean, and efficient job site operations
- Immediately address callbacks, warranty issues, and any customer concerns tied to installations
- Model a “do-whatever-it-takes” attitude that inspires the team to deliver 5-star service
What You Bring
- A committed and progressive work history in HVAC installation or inspection- 3 years or more preferred
- Proven ability to coach and train field teams to success
- Ability to pass a background and drug screen upon offer
- Clean motor vehicle record and active driver’s license
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Highly computer literate – proficient in MS Office, iAuditor, and related tools
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and time management capabilities
- High attention to detail and a drive for perfection
- Physical ability to travel locally, climb ladders, kneel, and inspect job sites as required
