Night Shift (7p-7a)
Job Summary: Administers, directs, and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental activities. Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established hospital standards, nursing department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital, nursing and education services.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license. BCLS required. ACLS and PALS or ENPC preferred within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months from date of hire/transfer. NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 3 months from date of hire. TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire. CEN or board certified in area of expertise recommended within 5 years of hire. Avade workplace violence prevention training (Level III) required after hire, not to exceed 3 months, and maintained annually. Training provided in-house. ***current employees as of April 12, 2024 will be allowed 1 year to obtain*** EXPERIENCE: No experience required for part time and full time employees.
