Job Opening:
The Department of Conservation and Recreation, seeks applicants for a Finance Intern (Unpaid Internship) for 2026 Summer Semester to perform the duties listed below.

Contracted Student Intern:  Data Analysis Playgrounds Intern

Start/End Date:  6/1/2026 - 8/14/2026

Salary Rate:  $0.00 (UNPAID Student Internship)

Weekly Hours:  30 hours

Number of Openings:  1 position

This internship is unpaid and designed to support students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in the field. Interns may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university.

General Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:

The intern will assist with data analysis or existing data done on playgrounds.  Also, data collection with playground surveys that we will create and implement.

Detailed Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with the DCR Playground Planner to collect and analyze data.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Data analysis experience and technology experience (Excell, ARC GIS or others). This will be all playground based information so interest is kids and/or playgrounds is helpful.
