Your day-to-day

Responsible for test planning, test creation , testing a large module or a large component and designing test scenarios for a feature, set of features, or whole feature area
Design and develop features, integration and regression tests using industry standard tools
Participate in development of scalable and robust test automation frameworks and scripts
Design end-to-end test scenarios to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
Work independently and collaborate with other teams across the business/engineering
Lead software quality engineering discussions in a detailed manner and mentors other quality engineers.

About You

5+ years of strong programming and scripting experience (Javascript/Typescript/Java preferred)
3+ years of experience in developing test framework (from scratch preferred)
5+ years of experience in designing test scenarios for end-to-end feature testing
5+ years of experience in developing Test Strategy/ Test Plan and other related testing artifacts
5+ years of experience in API driven Backend testing (in microservice based architecture preferred)
Prior experience in integrating testing artifacts with CI/CD pipeline (Git lab/Github/Jenkins/Docker/Kubernetes)
Able to work under minimal supervision and quick to adopt new technologies
Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
