Introduction
The Aga Khan University Hospital in addition to its five Hospitals creates access through its Outreach Services which include Clinical Laboratories, Outpatient Medical Centres, Pharmacy services, Home Health and other services. Outreach Services are designed to provide primary to secondary healthcare services to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan. Outpatient Medical Centres offer a range of specialty clinics including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and Physiotherapy, and cater to children, adults, and elderly patients for general health checks or specific disease consultations.

Job Role / Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
assist Head Nurse in day to day management of the patient care area.
teach and mentor new staff of the area
ensure that quality care is delivered to patients
meet consultants frequently to discuss patient care related issues
coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance quality of patient care
assess patient care and acuity trends, plan and manage unit and staffing, and ensure availability of supplies, equipment and other resources
Work in shifting duties
Active participation in CUSP projects
Review and plan to staff for uninterrupted patient care.
Assign nursing staff according to patient’s acuity and staff competency.
Able to manage conflicts and handle situations with composure.
Take appropriate actions to manage urgent and emergency situations.
Requirements
You should have:
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited school
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
Valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Safe Medication Administration, Aseptic Techniques, I/V Cannulation, Tool Training and Facilitation Course
Excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
Willingness to work in shift duties.
