Developer-Azure cloud Architecture

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Developer with extensive experience in Azure cloud architecture to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure services, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices. You’ll be responsible for architecting, developing, and optimizing cloud-native applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security in the cloud environment. This role requires both leading development and the ability to make high-level design decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Architecture & Development
   • Design and implement cloud solutions using Azure services like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and more.
   • Create high-availability, scalable, and cost-effective architectural solutions in Azure.
   • Develop cloud-native applications and leverage microservices architecture for modular and flexible deployments.
2. Application Development
   • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in C#, .NET, Angular/React or other relevant languages.
   • Lead and participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices and quality standards.
   • Collaborate closely with DevOps and other development teams to ensure smooth and secure deployments.
3. DevOps & CI/CD
   • Collaborate with the DevOps team to set up CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
   • Optimize deployment strategies using Azure DevOps, and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) with tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
   • Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for efficient operations.
4. Solution Design & Technical Leadership
   • Develop solution design documents, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
   • Act as a technical advisor, providing guidance on best practices, design patterns, and emerging Azure technologies.
   • Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge-sharing within the team.
5. Security & Compliance
   • Implement security best practices in Azure, including identity management, role-based access control (RBAC), and network security groups.
   • Ensure solutions are compliant with data protection regulations and internal security policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in Azure cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure DevOps, Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, etc.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and serverless computing.
• Hands-on experience with Angular/React with .NET Core, C#, NodeJS or other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools, especially Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with IaC tools like ARM, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security practices, networking, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
