
Roles & responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the testing efforts across the GTS team, including assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery.
Ensure thorough testing of business logic across applications to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
Review and validate the work completed by associates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business requirements.
Act as a point of escalation for testing-related issues and ensure timely resolution through collaboration with development and QA teams.
Prepare comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and scripts based on project requirements and AO expectations.
Oversee and participate in both manual and automated testing activities, as outlined in the test strategy.
Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to set up test environments, generate test data, and resolve defects.
Engage with AO (Application Owner) to understand expectations, clarify requirements, and assist with additional tasks as needed.
Provide regular status updates and insights to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
Review and enhance documentation including test cases, workpapers, and exception logs to ensure clarity and audit readiness.
Ensure defects are logged, tracked, and resolved using appropriate tools, maintaining transparency and traceability.
Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and proposing enhancements to testing workflows.
Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to build testing capabilities within the team.
Explore AI or automation opportunities to enhance testing efficiency and ready to upskill to be future ready.
Manage performance of team members through regular feedback, goal setting, and development planning.
Ensure effective resource planning and allocation across projects to meet delivery timelines and quality standards
Adhere to applicable framework, follow all the best practices preparer and checker process effectively to attain targeted quality
Demonstrate accountability and willingness to stretch beyond regular hours when needed

Mandatory technical & functional skills
Hands-on experience working in Agile environment on manual testing (Business / Functional).
People management skills such as team building and motivating
Expertise in software testing/quality analyst, database and visualization concepts
Good knowledge of SDLC & STLC
Proactive in resource alignments and ensure fully utilized
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office (with an emphasis on MS Excel skills).

Educational qualifications
Masters' degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Work experience
5 or more years with experience in functional and business testing
Prior experience in finance/accounting/auditing testing domain/ GDC experience of at least a year is preferred
