Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is committed to changing lives through the right job placements. The Engineering Sales Leader will lead and develop a sales team focused on engineering solutions, driving growth and enhancing business relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering top line growth through leading, engaging and developing a team of sellers to successfully execute the Engineering sales strategy
- Driving overall demand of SOW solutions and staffing through well-managed sales pipelines
- Expanding and enhancing Kelly's business relationships and value creation with current portfolio, prospective and new customers to contribute to enhanced sales growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and market share
- Maximizing sales and profit through effective contract and pricing negotiations
- Lead an industry focused sales team to drive demand for Engineering staffing, project and program solutions to build sustainable, profitable growth
- Clearly communicates roles and responsibilities and holds the team accountable for delivering results
- Instill a growth mindset and sense of urgency in the sales team
- Drive collaboration among individuals, teams, and across the enterprise
- Provide feedback and coaching to the team to ensure growth and sales expectations are being met
- Provide regular constructive feedback and development discussions with employees
- Drive efficiency in sales activities and tools used to from top of funnel, through lead generation and ultimately opportunity pipeline delivery
Requirements:
- HS Diploma required, Bachelor's degree in business or related area of study preferred
- 10+ years' experience with a focus in staffing and solutions sales management, preferably in Engineering specialties
- 5+ years' experience in people management
- Seasoned Industry professional, experienced in selling to high-level contacts virtually and in person
- Knowledge to build and deliver marketing content, sales presentation decks and formal proposals that align with the growth strategy
- Keen understanding of the various workforce solutions offered and how to ensure delivery of demand to meet each key areas budget targets
- Firm understanding of an Engineering growth strategy, areas of growth, challenges to be faced and ideas for overcoming those challenges
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Strong relationship building and problem-solving skills with both internal and external contacts
- Keen sense of the consultative sales process
- Solid knowledge of service offerings and internal corporate structures
- High level of financial acumen
