CCS Global Tech is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to support mission-critical federal programs. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems and infrastructure in accordance with federal security standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions to protect classified systems and networks
- Perform risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits
- Ensure compliance with federal security frameworks such as NIST RMF and FISMA
- Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and security documentation
- Monitor security events using SIEM tools and respond to incidents
- Conduct security control assessments and support ATO processes
- Implement and maintain secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure preferred)
- Collaborate with DevOps, system engineers, and developers to integrate security into system architecture
- Apply STIGs and security hardening best practices
Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or information assurance
- Experience with NIST 800-53, RMF, and federal compliance frameworks
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (ACAS, Nessus, etc.)
- Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools
- Experience supporting ATO packages and accreditation processes
- Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows system security
- CISSP, CEH, Security+, or similar DoD 8570/8140 certifications
- Experience in AWS or Azure cloud security
- Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience in secure DevSecOps environments
- Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) preferred
