Cyber Security Engineer

CCS Global Tech is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to support mission-critical federal programs. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems and infrastructure in accordance with federal security standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions to protect classified systems and networks
• Perform risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits
• Ensure compliance with federal security frameworks such as NIST RMF and FISMA
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and security documentation
• Monitor security events using SIEM tools and respond to incidents
• Conduct security control assessments and support ATO processes
• Implement and maintain secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure preferred)
• Collaborate with DevOps, system engineers, and developers to integrate security into system architecture
• Apply STIGs and security hardening best practices

Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or information assurance
• Experience with NIST 800-53, RMF, and federal compliance frameworks
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (ACAS, Nessus, etc.)
• Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools
• Experience supporting ATO packages and accreditation processes
• Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows system security
• CISSP, CEH, Security+, or similar DoD 8570/8140 certifications
• Experience in AWS or Azure cloud security
• Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Experience in secure DevSecOps environments
• Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) preferred
