Software Engineer

Added Innovation is a values-driven technology consulting firm that partners with large, mission-focused non-profit associations to solve complex technical challenges. They are seeking a Software Engineer who enjoys hands-on development and collaborating with teammates to deliver high-quality solutions for multiple clients.

Responsibilities:

• Implement software solutions designed by senior engineers and architects
• Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET (Web Forms and/or MVC), and SQL Server
• Work within existing codebases, including legacy systems
• Troubleshoot issues across development, test, and production environments
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver high-quality solutions for multiple clients
• Communicate directly with clients as needed to clarify requirements or resolve issues
• Continuously improve your technical skills and understanding of the platforms we support

Requirements:

• 0–5 years of professional software development experience (or equivalent education and project work)
• Microsoft .NET training or hands-on experience
• Experience with C#
• Experience with ASP.NET
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Visual Studio
• Experience with source control (Git, TFVC, or similar)
• Ability to implement defined solutions independently
• Comfort working across multiple projects and clients in a single day
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Clear communication skills
• A humble, curious, and coachable mindset
• Willingness to learn and recognize personal strengths and limitations
• NetForum AMS experience
• Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms or MVC
• JavaScript and jQuery experience
• Exposure to SOAP APIs or legacy integrations
• Association or nonprofit industry experience
• Consulting or client-facing experience
• Azure DevOps experience
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• Microsoft, SQL Server, or Azure certifications
