Search and NLP Engineer - Virtual

Alight Solutions is committed to championing people and helping them grow with purpose. They are seeking a Search and NLP Engineer to support their Generative AI roadmap by designing capabilities and solutions using large language models and transformer-based architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate base search appliance configurations and assess their impact on search results
• Review and test the latest Large Language Models and develop capabilities using LLM endpoints
• Design and implement new capabilities and configurations in the OpenSearch environment
• Identify opportunities to improve search and retrieval performance based on client needs
• Provide guidance on conversational AI and related strategy
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates
• Submit and track Maestro or JIRA requests

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in AI technology roles focused on natural language models
• Working knowledge of process mapping and process design
• Experience with Scaled Agile (SAFe)
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to align business objectives with data insights
• Completion of a program of study typically requiring four years of post‑secondary education or equivalent
