Role: Sr. Project
Manager/Scrum Master
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid 3 Days a week onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months contract

Looking for a very strong, seasoned, effective PM and Scrum Master that
can vacillate with confidence between waterfall and scrum/kanban. Be able to
get enough into the details or ask related questions to feel confident as to
where we are/are not and identify any organizational challenges. The challenge
I have with current project is that it is complex to navigate and moving
fast. Requires someone to be extremely well organized and able to
influence team effectiveness.
Summary:
-
As a Sr. Project Manager/Scrum
Master, you will directly report to an IT Delivery Manager.
-
You will be responsible for the
overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and
completion of your projects ensuring consistency with company project
methodology, organizational strategy, commitments and goals.

In agile environments you will
ensure that the team adheres to the Scrum principles, values and practices
while establishing an Agile friendly environment for the team. You will be
accountable for facilitating the Scrum process and will also be ensuring that
the team is delivering value. This role will support the JMFE Corporate
Systems Unit.

Ensure quality assurance

Constantly monitor and report on
progress of the project to all stakeholders

Develop and present reports
defining project progress, problems and solutions

Implement and manage project
changes and interventions to achieve project goal In Agile Environments:

Guide and coach, the team on how
to use Agile framework

Remove impediments that inhibit
the team's productivity and that may sometimes involve coordinating with
people outside the team to seek assistance on work items

Facilitate Agile ceremonies and
ensure that they are comprehended and followed: Sprint Planning, Daily
Scrum, Sprint review and Sprint Retrospective

Act as a Servant Leader: Maintain
productivity and function of the team

Manage the Scrum Board

Facilitate internal communication
and effective collaboration

Act as Change Agent: Understand
the need for change helping the team implement changes effectively

Ensure deliverables meet the

Guides teams to higher scrum

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer
science, Business or related field required

Minimum of
5 years of
experience in working on projects/ Scrum teams

Certified Scrum Master or
equivalent
-
Project Management Professional
(PMP) certification

Advanced knowledge of Agile and
Waterfall methodologies

Must possess a strong presence,
polish, and exude confidence

communication skills
