Pediatrics - Newborn (Assistant Professor)

Summary

This full-time (1.00 FTE) position is within the Division of Neonatology at Texas Children's Hospital, located in Austin, Texas. This role supports the clinical, operational, and administrative functions of the Neonatology department and contributes to advancing high-quality care for neonatal patients across affiliated hospital sites.

 

The individual in this position will work collaboratively with neonatologists, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient coordination of departmental initiatives, clinical programs, and strategic priorities. This role plays a key part in supporting the growth and expansion of neonatal services in the Austin region and contributes to the mission of Texas Children's Hospital to provide excellence in patient care, education, and research. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

 

The candidate is expected to demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to support departmental goals and enhance operational efficiency.
