Overview:
Reports directly to the Foreperson, Supervisor or next level Manager. The Inspector is required to perform nondestructive testing on various industry components and accessories. This includes, but is not limited to visual inspection, magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrant testing, electromagnetic inspection, and ultrasonics inspection techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Follow customer specifications, industry recommended practices, and company procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform all assignments, duties and tasks in a safe manner while following standard operating procedures.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality.
- Set up and calibrate equipment according to work order.
- Communicate and coordinate all pertinent information to appropriate Supervisor/ Manager to ensure effective and safe operations.
- Performing quality checks throughout production runs.
- Inform the Supervisor/Manager or designee of any interruptions or irregularities in the production line.
- Follow all Company HSE, QMS policies and procedures and report to the appropriate personnel of any violations of these policies or procedures.
- Accurately create and maintain inspection and production reports as required.
- Perform other various job duties that may be required by the Supervisor/ Manager or their designee.

- Ability to think ahead, anticipate problems, make decisions, and be a team player.
- Self-motivated towards productivity improvements, quality, and safety awareness.
- Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
- Willing to work overtimes, weekends and some holidays as needed.
- Flexible and able to accept and respond to multi-task assignments quickly, readily, and safely.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience:
- Level II Certification Required. VTI, MPI, LPT, EMI, UT
- Familiar with industry standards. (API, DS-1)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
