
Park Nicollet is looking to hire an Administrative Intern/Fellow to join our Primary Care team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
Internship and fellowship experiences will vary widely depending on the needs of the intern/fellow, the organization, and the environment in which the organization operates. The intern/fellowship, in collaboration with the University Program in Healthcare Management, is to help prepare students to relate and apply what they have learned in a classroom setting to a health care organization while directly managing projects to support the mission and objectives of Park Nicollet Health Services and expose students to management activities and work to provide analysis and recommendations on key operational activities on care process design and/or financial impact.
The intern/fellow will be guided by a mutually beneficial set of goals and objectives. They should be developed jointly by the intern/fellow to reflect specific needs and by the organization to reflect its forecasted needs for assistance during the intern/fellowship period. They will identify what the intern/fellow needs for professional development and build a resume attractive for career advancement while contributing to the organization’s achieving its objectives.
