Nurse Navigator Gyn Oncology 40 hrs

Job Summary: The Nurse Navigator oversees the multitude of clinical aspects of an active department, while working in the support of the broader Program in Women's Oncology. The Nurse Navigator is responsible for coordinating health education for patients. Provides assistance and navigation through the complexities and barriers of the healthcare system. Reports as part of the CNE Cancer Institute (CNECI). Assists in the research of the medical aspects of particular studies. Performs other related duties as requested or directed.

Specifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with 3 to 5 years nursing experience. Supervisory experience preferred. Must have and maintain CPR certification. Oncology Nursing Society certification preferred or obtained within two years of hire. Nursing Navigation Certification Preferred or obtained within two years of hire. Must have and maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Rhode Island. Must be proficient in the English and Spanish preferred.
