Electrical Engineer II

Role Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer II, you will own the end-to-end design of complex electrical systems, from initial concept and architecture through hardware bring-up and testing. Joining a growing organization, you’ll have the opportunity to guide technical decisions and tackle mission-critical challenges across projects in multiple industries, including commercial space, aviation, renewable energy, and medical devices. This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about technical ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and building systems that matter.

What You Will Do:

• Support the design, architecture, and development of electronic systems 
• Work closely with internal engineering teams and external customers to build solutions across multiple industries 
• Take ownership from schematic capture and PCB layout through hardware bring-up and troubleshooting 
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to deliver on development activities ranging from design reviews to hardware bring-up and testing

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field 
• 3+ years of experience with end-to-end electronics design, including requirements generation, schematic design, board layout, design verification and acceptance testing
• Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team 
• Demonstrated passion for engineering 
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to overcome technical challenges 
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills; ability to explain design decisions and component selections 
• Experience in any common ECAD tool, such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence, PADS, EAGLE, etc.

What Would Be Useful: 

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related field 
• Experience in a team-based design and build project (e.g., Formula SAE, Solar Car, CubeSat, etc.)
• Experience designing PCBs for high-reliability applications (e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical)
• Experience with analog small-signal circuit design (filters, op-amp circuits, signal conditioning) and/or power electronics designs: regulators, load drivers, supply filters, protection circuitry

• Applicant must be willing to work 40 hours a week on-site in Redmond, Washington, USA
• Applicant must be eligible to work on export controlled projects
