About the Positions

ATS Traffic Winnipeg is looking for new team members to join us for our upcoming season ! Do you enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather? Are you motivated, hardworking, safety focused and looking for your new opportunity?

If so, consider joining ATS Traffic's On-Street Services department as a Traffic Control Person. This is a seasonal position, and schedules are job specific. Days, evenings, weekend shifts. Overtime available! This position is expected to last until the end of November 2026.  

In this role as a Traffic Control Person, you will be responsible for conducting traffic control around cities and construction sites, making deliveries to our customers, and assisting with shipping and receiving in our shop. Other duties include: 

• Set-up, delivery and pick up of rental and sales product

• Filling out appropriate paperwork such as work area and journals

• Handling customer pick-ups and customer returns

• Cleaning and maintenance of all rental equipment

• Truck upkeep and inspections (Oil changes, cleaning, tire pressure)

• Following principles for LEAN 6S

Qualifications

• A valid Non-GDL (non-graduated) Class 5 Driver’s License and a Clean 3-Year Regular Drivers Abstract is required to drive our company vehicles.
• Own method of transportation to get to and from work is preferred.
• As this is a safety-sensitive role, all candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test. Note: All safety-sensitive positions have a zero tolerance policy marijuana, medical or recreational. 
• Ability to successfully pass a Fit Test including lifting between 50 and 75 pounds.
• Experience in either Traffic Control or Construction industries is an asset
• Preference is given to candidates who hold a valid TCP certificate
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All you need to bring is a pair of CSA Approved Safety Boots on your first day - we will cover the rest.
