Senior Medical Writer (Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough research and staying abreast with the latest developments on medical front in the allocated therapeutic area, ensuring that the curated content is current and relevant to the audience as well as client interest.
• Utilizing apt tools for editing the articles, leveraging the platform’s tools to create visually engaging, concise and coherent infographics that effectively convey key findings from the researched articles for optimized readability.
• Collaborating with the subject matter experts to refine the infographics, ensuring accuracy, clarity and adherence to industry standards, before finalizing the visual content.
• Managing the scheduling of review and posting process, ensuring timely publication of the content on the platform.

Qualifications

• Desired TA knowledge: Including but not limited to – Oncology and rare diseases, Cardiovascular, Nutrition, Vaccines.  
• Bachelor's/Master's Degree /Ph.D in life sciences related discipline or related field
• Typically requires 1-3 years of prior relevant experience and related competency levels.
• Ability to integrate, interpret, and summarize data from a variety of sources in a clear and concise manner.
• In depth knowledge of drug development, medical writing, and associated regulations. Good understanding of statistical principles and of medical terminology across a range of therapeutic areas.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including grammatical/technical writing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Communicates clearly, effectively and confidently with others.
• Demonstrated abilities in collaboration with others and independent thought.
• Demonstrates confidence and maturity in most routine medical writing situations.
• Demonstrates good judgement in requesting input from senior staff.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Must be computer literate.
