Role Summary
At BabyMD, we believe parenting should be supported by expert, accessible, and empathetic care. We are looking for a Marketing Communications Associate, a creative "Swiss Army Knife" who can translate medical expertise into engaging content for parents. You will be the bridge between our doctors and our community. This is a high-execution role where you will script, shoot, write, and manage the logistics of our brand across WhatsApp, social media, events and physical clinic touchpoints. Leads on execution: plans day-to-day comms, coordinates stakeholders, manages timelines, and delivers content and events to a high standard. Influences through reliable delivery, clear communication, and strong follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Production
- Short-Form Video: Script, direct, and shoot "mobile-first" video content (Reels/ Youtube Shorts) featuring BabyMD experts.
- Editing Oversight: Work with inhouse and freelance video editors to ensure the final output matches our brand aesthetic and tone.
- Visual Storytelling: Capture high-quality photos of clinic life, products, and events for social and physical marketing.
- Manage photo shoots for seasonal or festive promotions in partnership with the cluster or area team.
- Keep abreast of competition and their collateral, advertising, and marketing efforts, as well as constantly evolving digital and marketing trends.
2. Omnichannel Copywriting
- WhatsApp Marketing: Craft helpful, non-spammy, and high-conversion copy for our parent broadcast lists and community groups.
- Digital Assets: Write punchy captions, emailers, and app notifications that simplify complex pediatric topics.
- Physical Assets: Draft copy for in-clinic posters, brochures, and "take-home" kits for parents.
- Social Media: Facilitate social media engagement and consistently update content on local digital channels
3. Brand & Vendor Management
- Design Liaison: Brief and manage internal/external designers to ensure all assets (digital and print) are on-brand and delivered on time.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with printers, signage vendors, and merchandise suppliers to ensure high-quality physical branding.
- Asset Library: Maintain an organized "source of truth" for all marketing collateral, ensuring the team always has the latest versions.
4. Reputation & Growth Operations
- PR & Events: Plan and run in-person/virtual events and engagement activities: logistics, vendors, content, run-of-show, rehearsal, and on-day delivery.
- Google Business Profile (GBP): Manage Google Maps reviews across all clinic locations, responding with empathy and professional medical "softness." Keep our local listings updated with fresh photos, holiday hours, and keyword-optimized service descriptions.
- AI Efficiency: Use AI tools (ChatGPT/Midjourney/CapCut) to speed up brainstorming, drafting, and basic content variations.
Requirements

- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut/InShot, and project management tools (Notion/Trello/Asana/Jira).
- You are a "problem-solver" who doesn't wait for a detailed manual; you figure out how to get the shot or fix the vendor issue.
- Collaborative style; comfortable working across teams and levels.
