Seed Health is a microbiome science company pioneering clinically validated innovations for gut and whole-body health. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will advance Seed’s data capabilities, partnering with leaders across various functions to transform data into actionable insights that drive business growth and scientific discovery.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the evolution of Seed’s analytics roadmap in alignment with company priorities
- Work cross functionally with a small but growing team of analysts and analytics engineers
- Establish frameworks, standards, and best practices for reporting, modeling, and experimentation
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to design analyses, reports, and dashboards that inform strategy and execution
- Build scalable pipelines and data models that support self-service analytics across teams
- Guide stakeholders in designing and interpreting experiments to optimize growth and product outcomes
- Define and maintain processes for data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems
- Collaborate with engineering to influence data architecture and performance
- Promote best practices in compliance, privacy, and ethical use of data
- Provide insights that optimize acquisition, retention, and customer experience
- Support science and product teams with data-driven approaches to study design and analysis
- Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency through advanced analytics
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL and dbt data modeling best practices (e.g., star schemas, dimensional modeling)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact analytics and dbt pipelines in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong technical foundation in modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Airflow) and analytics best practices
- Skilled in experimentation, statistical analysis, and translating data into actionable business insights
- Excellent communicator who can distill complex data concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on operator with the ability to both execute and guide others
- Experience in e-commerce, healthtech, or consumer health (bonus)
- Passion for advancing science and human health through data
