Tailored Management is a global health insurance provider focused on improving health and well-being. The Business Analytics Analyst will analyze business processes, interpret data, document requirements, and support decision-making to enhance organizational performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and understanding underlying issues impacting organizational performance
- Support stakeholders by providing clear and accurate information to aid decision-making
- Learn and apply problem-solving techniques to help address challenges and opportunities effectively
- Learn and use requirements management tools and methodologies to ensure alignment with project goals and maintain traceability from business needs to final outcomes
- Gain familiarity with industry standard project management tools
- Develop basic skills in system analysis techniques to document system requirements, use cases, and workflows
- Assist in creating visual prototypes, wireframes, and mock-ups using tools to communicate requirements and validate solutions with stakeholders
- Learn and maintain data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Develop skills in creating data visualizations to help convert raw data into meaningful insights for decision-making
- Support the documentation and representation of business processes to aid in analysis and improvement efforts
- Assist in mapping and analyzing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and suggesting improvements
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, internal and external, at various levels of the organization
- Practice active listening, asking clarifying questions, and summarizing information accurately
- Learn to explain technical concepts in simple terms, particularly when engaging with individuals who have varying levels of technical knowledge
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field, and 1 year of experience, OR 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Familiarity with business process modeling techniques and tools
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
- Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Basic understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with data analysis tools is preferred
