TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, seeking a Cyber Engineer - NetIQ Developer with experience in NetIQ/OpenText. The role involves building, maintaining, and updating technology solutions in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) space, troubleshooting issues related to identities and access management, and producing technical documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Build, deliver, maintain, and update technology, platform, and system solutions in the IAM space (NetIQ)
- Oversee the organization’s Provisioning and Access management system
- Troubleshoot and manage the resolution of issues related to identities, systems, access, accounts, entitlements, and permissions
- Produce IAM technical documentation such as detailed design and configuration guides
- Perform root cause analysis, impact analysis, and formulate and execute plans to develop solutions
- Estimate effort and value for solutions and understand technology platforms/architectures
- Engage in industry, domain, process, or technology trends, especially in IAM and Cybersecurity
- Acts as a coordination and facilitation point for organizing work efforts
- Sets up or follows established procedures to ensure high quality of work
- Understands dependency identification processes in technology work, verifies information and carefully reviews and checks the accuracy of own work
- Establishes or follows prioritization processes to drive work, and has a sense of urgency about getting work completed
- Must be able to demonstrate a firm understand of lifecycle management concepts such as joiner/mover/leaver, birthright provisioning, role-based provisioning, and least privileged
- Ability to work with a highly collaborative, dynamic, and cross-functional team of engineers
- Demonstrated experience implementing DevOps tools, capabilities, and methods
- Ability to complete root-cause analysis on complex issues
- Troubleshooting highly complex issues
Requirements:
- 2-4 years experience in NetIQ/OpenText
- Build, deliver, maintain, and update technology, platform, and system solutions in the IAM space (NetIQ)

- 5+ years' experience working as a IAM engineer or equivalent position working on Microfocus Products
- 5+ year's experience with Identity & Access Management concepts, such as user lifecycle management (provisioning and de-provisioning), Identity Governance, Role/Attribute Based Access Control, and least-privileged access
- Experience with IAM Provisioning Tools such as OpenText Identity Manager, SailPoint IIQ, CA Identity Manager, Oracle Identity Manager, and equivalent solutions
- Experience with REST/SOAP API's
- Driver development experience (Java/JavaScript, ECMA Script, Linux shell scripts)
- Demonstrated experience working according to software development methodologies
- Must be able to demonstrate a firm understand of lifecycle management concepts such as joiner/mover/leaver, birthright provisioning, role-based provisioning, and least privileged
- Ability to work with a highly collaborative, dynamic, and cross-functional team of engineers
- Demonstrated experience implementing DevOps tools, capabilities, and methods
- Experience with software development languages such as Java, C/C++, C#, and .NET
- Ability to complete root-cause analysis on complex issues
- Troubleshooting highly complex issues
- Strong Knowledge of Risk and Compliance initiatives including PCI, SOX, HIPAA
- Knowledge of the NIST Cyber Security Framework
- 5+ Years of Java Development experience in an enterprise environment
- 5+ Years of experience with Bash, Python, or Perl scripting
- 5+ Years of experience with Identity Management tools such as OpenText (NetIQ) Identity Manager, SailPoint IIQ, Oracle Identity Manager, CA Identity Manager, and IBM Security Identity Manager
- Has web development experience (HTML, JSP, CSS, JavaScript, and/or PHP)
- Experience with Agile Practices like Scrum, Kanban, CI, CD
- Experience with build/tooling such as Git, Stash, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence
- Financial or insurance industry experience
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus
