Stadium Lofts is a professionally managed residential community located in the heart of downtown St. Louis. We take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests. We are seeking an experienced Janitorial Technician who takes ownership of their work and understands that cleanliness directly reflects the quality of the property.
Position Overview
The Janitorial Technician is responsible for maintaining all common areas of the property in excellent condition. This individual will be the sole janitorial professional onsite and must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable.
This role's focus is on daily cleanliness, presentation, and upkeep of shared spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all interior common areas including hallways, lobby, leasing office, fitness center, stairwells, elevators, and restrooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and polish surfaces daily
- Maintain cleanliness of entryways and exterior common areas as needed
- Remove trash and recycling from designated areas
- Monitor supply levels and notify management when reordering is needed
- Identify and report maintenance issues to property management
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
- Represent Stadium Lofts in a courteous and professional manner at all times
Requirements
- Prior janitorial experience required (apartment, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience strongly preferred)
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
