Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) – 1:1 Home Care
Job Summary
Centria Healthcare is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 private duty nursing in patients’ homes. You’ll deliver skilled, personalized care to pediatric and adult patients in a low-stress, relationship-based setting.

About the Client
A bright, creative, and fully cognitive 24-year-old woman.
We are seeking a compassionate private duty nurse to provide care for a vibrant 24-year-old female who is fully cognitive and uses a tracheostomy and ventilator. She is a talented individual who enjoys drawing, crafting, and using her computer and phone. The successful candidate will primarily assist with tasks requiring hand use (unless she is at a high table) and general personal care. The patient's caring parents are highly involved and helpful with her care. Hours are flexible. Must be comfortable with one friendly dog in the home.
🕒 Shift Times
- 7:30am- 5:30pm on Tuesday and Friday

About the Client
A kind and fun 18-year-old woman.
We are seeking a compassionate private duty nurse to provide care for a wonderful 18-year-old female who has a rare medical condition. She has a trach and vent but enjoys playing cards, watching movies, and adores having bonfires with her little sister and parents. This loving home is non smoking and contains 2 small dogs.
🕒 Shift Times
- 10:30pm- 8:30am on Thursday and Friday or Friday and Saturday
- 10:00pm- 7:30am on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care)
- Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs
- Assist with daily living activities (ADLs)
- Communicate with families and care teams
- Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time and part-time shifts available
- Day, night, and weekend shifts
- Weekly pay + optional daily pay

Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
- Home care or private duty experience preferred (not required)
- Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Patient Population
- Pediatrics (birth–21 years)
- Adults with complex medical needs
