Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute on a strategic roadmap for the technology platforms for the Consumer and Small Business segment of the bank
- Oversee the development and management of origination and online banking platforms (internal and third party), to drive competitive data-driven onboarding and digital banking experiences
- Partner with data engineering and data science teams to drive integration between operational and analytical platforms to enable AI-driven customer experiences and deep customer insights
- Manage loan origination systems, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency to reduce friction in the loan origination process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, technology, data-analytics, risk/compliance, information security to ensure cohesive and integrated platform solutions
- Foster a customer-centric mindset within the team, prioritizing user experiences and customer satisfaction
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to enhance team performance and growth
- Stay abreast of industry trends and actively use benchmarks to maintain competitive customer experiences and efficient use of technology platforms
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity and trust in all platform operations
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of banking technology, digital platforms, and data integration
- Prior experience with leading technology transformation projects, platform migrations and integrations within a distributed platform ecosystem
- Ability to influence executive leadership and to operate independently
- Proven experience in leading teams and developing strategic roadmaps for business architecture, preferably in a banking or financial services environment
- Strong customer mindset with a focus on enhancing user experiences
- Knowledge of bank regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience leading the implementation and management of banking technology platforms
- Bachelors Degree in technology or data-centric discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Engineering)
- Demonstrated prior experience in both iterative/agile and traditional project/product development methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in leading third-party relationships for key platforms
- Demonstrated working knowledge of functional and non-functional testing of web and mobile applications (both customer-facing and employee-facing)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading product and platform teams
Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in a technology or data-centric discipline
