HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION
The Buildings and Grounds Attendant's primary purpose is to ensure cleanliness of guest and team member areas, and sorting and diversion of waste streams, to maximize re-use and recycling. The position sustainably cleans, maintains and sanitizes grounds, stands, patios, lobbies, restrooms, offices, lockers and tour vehicles. This position reports to the Buildings and Grounds Lead, Supervisor or Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Communication and Collaboration: Able to use radio to communicate issues, respond to calls and assist other team members.
• Demonstrates commitment to and care of environment, through pulling and relining trash, recycling, and compost receptacles, collecting food trays, sorting waste steams, cleaning glass and mirrors, wiping tables and chairs, polishing and organizing workstations.
• Demonstrates care and attention to detail in the cleaning and disinfection of toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, floors, hand dryers, emptying hygiene containers, vents, drains, partitions and restocking paper products
• Demonstrates care and attention to detail in the cleaning of walkways/streets/pathways; sweep, hose, use a leaf blower, push puddles and collect debris.
• Demonstrates care and attention to detail in the cleaning and maintenance of restaurant patios/lobbies; sweep, vacuum, scrub, mop, wipe glass, remove cobwebs, vents, dusting, wiping surfaces.
• Demonstrates care and attention to detail in the maintaining office cleanliness - vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize floors and surfaces, remove trash/recyclables, clean glass, windowsills, removal and proper disposal of red bags.
• Provides outstanding guest service through approachable and helpful demeanor - assisting with directions, providing useful information and answering guest questions.
• Demonstrates care and attention to detail in the maintenance of floor cleanliness, through use of a deck brush, floor scrubber, mop and work with a variety of cleaning and disinfecting chemicals.
• Drive society vehicle, load, and unload items into vehicles, transport supplies to different locations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid California driver’s license.

• Position Type: Hourly Part-Time Non-Exempt Seasonal Union Position from May through November - If selected, there will be fees and dues to be paid to the union
• Hourly Rate: $21.91
About The Salary Ranges
The posted salary range represents the full compensation potential for this role over time. Initial hiring offers are typically made within the lower to mid portion of the range and are based on a combination of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and organizational considerations. Placement near the top of the range is generally reserved for individuals who demonstrate sustained performance, growth, and expanded responsibilities in the role over time.
