Under the direction of the Supervisor of Central Scheduling or authorized designee, the CS Representative is primarily concerned with the timely and accurate scheduling of procedures for assigned ancillary departments, requiring abilities to work rapidly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
QualificationsEDUCATION:
High School graduate.
EXPERIENCE:
One year experience with patient and/or physician contact in a healthcare environment.
SKILLS:
Keyboarding skills required (typing speed of 40WPM minimum). Must have excellent oral and written communications skills demonstrating ability to deal with physician offices, patients and ancillary departments. Familiarity with data processing capabilities and procedures is strongly preferred. Must have window system skills, with demonstrated proficiency in Web-based applications. Must have the ability to perform a variety of duties with speed and accuracy.
