Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Supervise and support front-line team members during shifts.
• Train, coach, and mentor new and existing team members.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving stock as assigned.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
• You have your high school diploma or equivalent, previous retail or grocery experience especially in the Cooperative Retailing System would be an asset.
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and are proud of the work that you do.
• You can work unsupervised and plan and organize your own work and the work of others.
• You have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• You are familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
• You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements, heavy lifting, repetitive movements, standing entire shift.
• You have a flexible work schedule; weekend and evening work is required.
