Are you an organised, friendly, and customer-focused professional looking for a part-time opportunity in a supportive dental environment? Our team at Lumino The Dentists Oamaru is seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join us on a fixed-term basis through to the 18th December 2026.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming and seamless experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

Job Description

You will be responsible for:

• Welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism
• Managing appointments and coordinating schedules
• Handling phone and email enquiries
• Processing payments and managing patient records
• Supporting the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations including sterilising equipment and ensuring top-level infection control. 

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous reception, administration, or dental experience (preferred but not essential)
• Possesses strong communication and organisational skills
• Is confident using computer systems
• Thrives in a team environment
• Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
