Associate - Technical Support Engineer

Role-Specific Skills:

• Trade support, matching, and settlement of public securities • Cash and asset reconciliations • Private assets operations support • Derivatives lifecycle management and confirmation • Cash movements and payments • Securities setup, static data maintenance, and pricing • Corporate actions processing and instruction handling • Collateral and margin management

Technical/Soft Skills:

• Good computer navigation & keyboard skills • Good hands-on knowledge of MS Excel and MS applications • Blackrock Aladdin and Sim Corp dimension, Bloomberg, Custody portals • Experience in Power BI

 

Work Experience and other requirements: Preferred 2 to 4 years of relevant experience

•Perform daily custody and intersystem reconciliations, 3way reconciliations, Collateral reconciliations, across multiple asset classes, ensuring timely resolution of breaks and adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards •Review, escalate, and coordinate break investigations with custodians, brokers, and internal teams, driving root-cause analysis and sustainable process enhancements •Lead process optimization initiatives within the reconciliation function, leveraging automation and best practices to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting quality •Ensuring compliance with SOPs and supporting a strong control environment through regular checks and documentation •Good understanding of MT 535, 940 and 950 SWIFT, MT 103, MT 202, MT 540 series

Responsibilities:

• Experience in trade support and investment operations for both public assets (fixed income, ETFs and derivatives) and private assets (unlisted fund investments)

• Overall good understanding of Trade life cycle • Expertise in middle and back-office activities across the full trade lifecycle

• Trade Processing & Corporate Actions - Security Master File recon, Trade reconciliation and posting, Liaison with broker and bank for allocations and settlements; process corporate actions as per type and instruct bank accordingly.

Education: Bachelor's degree, MBA Finance, any certification in Financial Instruments, Investment Banking,
