Senior Software Engineer - Technical Services (Remote)

SoTalent is seeking a Senior Advanced Software Engineer to join their high-impact technical services team. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing complex enterprise software solutions for regulated industries while providing technical leadership and mentorship.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and integrate complex enterprise software solutions
• Identify and propose technical enhancements that improve performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Apply best practices in software configuration management and change management
• Review and approve technical design and configuration documentation
• Maintain up-to-date expertise within your technical domain
• Lead technical and functional requirement workshops with senior customer stakeholders
• Scope, estimate, and define technical custom solutions in collaboration with customer engagement teams
• Implement enterprise quality management software in alignment with industry regulations
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex customer challenges
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering and delivery teams to accelerate innovation
• Provide guidance and mentorship to delivery consultants at varying experience levels
• Support consistent, high-quality delivery across projects and customers

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in software development
• Proven technical software consulting experience
• Hands-on Salesforce development experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (STEM preferred)
• Experience implementing quality management software for pharmaceutical or medical device organisations
• Understanding of multiple software development lifecycles
• Strong knowledge of configuration and change management practices
• Ability to communicate effectively within global, distributed teams
• High level of autonomy, creativity, and structured problem-solving
• Confidence making decisions in complex, ambiguous situations
