Data Engineer

Arkhya Tech. Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Azure Backend / Data Engineer with strong expertise in backend development and database systems. The role involves designing and implementing complex data processing solutions in a cloud environment, as well as managing CI/CD pipelines and Azure infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and database-driven applications
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Develop automation scripts and system administration tasks using PowerShell
• Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure using ARM templates
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues using Azure Application Insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data processing solutions
• Maintain and manage code repositories using Git
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews
• Ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable cloud-based solutions

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in the IT industry with focus on backend and database development
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Azure Application Insights, ARM template deployments, and Git repositories
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Experience designing and implementing data processing or database-driven systems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms or data engineering solutions
• Familiarity with modern backend frameworks and API development
