Cloud Engineer

CareerUS Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join their growing technology team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based infrastructure while collaborating with developers, DevOps engineers, and security teams to ensure secure and efficient cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure in platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
• Work closely with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment processes
• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and monitoring
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner
• Optimize cloud resources to improve performance and control operational costs
• Document cloud architectures, configurations, and operational procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and cloud architecture
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
