Fluence is a global market leader delivering intelligent energy storage and optimization software for renewables and storage. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of advanced battery energy storage systems, ensuring systems operate at peak performance and delivering superior customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and support
- Diagnosing and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and software issues for battery systems both remotely and on-site
- Manage third party contractors
- Provide onsite technical support and training to customers on system operation and safety
- Document service activities, maintenance records, and technical reports accurately
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and environmental regulations
- Respond to emergency service requests and resolve issues under time-sensitive conditions
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and service-level agreements
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent technical experience)
- 3-5 years of proven experience in field service, preferably within battery systems, energy storage, or power electronics
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools
- Ability to travel frequently to customer sites
